Dr. Cameron was an Umbrella U.S.A researcher working in Raccoon City. She was infected with the t-Virus during the Raccoon City Destruction Incident and, in an effort to prevent her from transforming into a Zombie, she infected herself with an Unknown Virus tentatively named the “Cameron Virus” which had memory-transplanting properties.
However, the virus caused a violent mutation, transforming her into a monster. A U.B.C.S. team under the command of Claus was sent to rescue her and the research data she produced.
Cameron's ID card had a tracker, which led them to the Raccoon City Municipal Warehouse. As they started to explore, a soldier named Robert was attacked and killed by the now-mutant Cameron. Only to be killed with a Grenade Launcher by Ed. With the team now down to 4 People and the ID card tracker moving to somewhere else, they headed towards her new location.
With them unaware of her true nature, Dr. Cameron made it her goal to kill the U.B.C.S. team and prevent Umbrella Corporation from recovering the data from her Viral Research. First by accident, a cockroach ate bits of what was once Cameron and obtained Cameron's memories later through intentional infection, the cockroach infected a rat, which later infected a crow and now with the ability to fly, Cameron-Crow followed their car. The tracker led them to Raccoon's Sewer tunnels, where Cameron's lab was located. Ed is chosen to stand guard the entrance, Claus, Roger and Norman go down the manhole.
In the tunnels, they manage to break in with the help of explosives and they're attacked by Cameron's infected dog, after killing it, they realize that the dog had the ID Card on a collar all along, and Roger solves it all by saying that monster in the warehouse was in fact Dr. Cameron. Roger succeeds in recovering the Research Data, only to be assaulted by Claus, with Roger falling onto the corpse of Cameron's dog, and his blood coming into contact with Roger's mouth, thus infecting him with the Cameron Virus.
Meanwhile, Ed is attacked by Cameron-Crow and is infected with Cameron Virus, Claus and Norman hear gunshots and screams for help and they come to provide assistance but it was already too late. Norman is ripped in half by Cameron-Ed, Claus runs and escapes the sewers only to be surrounded by zombies who were attracted by the gunshots earlier, Cameron-Ed bursts through the manhole and injuries Claus on his leg. Unable to escape, Claus is saved in the last seconds by Roger, Claus uses a machine gun and finishes Cameron-Ed.
Sometime later, Claus and Roger are on a highway outside Raccoon City, Claus talks to Roger about before and asks for an apology. Later, he tries to piece together how Cameron's virus works, only to be unexpectedly corrected by Roger. Not understanding what Roger's comment was supposed to mean, Claus is impaled by something coming from behind his seat, Roger reveals himself to be actually Cameron since he came in contact with the dog's blood. After a brief speech, he kills Claus in a horrific way, using tentacle-like things to pierce his face and then tear it apart. [1]
